Fascism has arrived in the United States of Amnesia. Already the S.S. detains demonstrators, suspends habeas corpus, conducts warrant-less wiretaps, uses false-flag operations (9/11) and starts illegal wars based on lies. Neo-cons and their Republicant rubber-stamping enablers are the new Nazis. Much of Germany did not know what was going on until it was too late. Most of us with functioning grey matter in our skull cavities can probably agree that the WWII German populace was far more intelligent that today's average American.
The final nail in the coffin of a representative democracy could just be this:
Bush Moves Toward Martial Law
In a stealth maneuver, President Bush has signed into law a provision which, according to Senator Patrick Leahy (D-Vermont), will actually encourage the President to declare federal martial law (1). It does so by revising the Insurrection Act, a set of laws that limits the President's ability to deploy troops within the United States. The Insurrection Act (10 U.S.C.331 -335) has historically, along with the Posse Comitatus Act (18 U.S.C.1385), helped to enforce strict prohibitions on military involvement in domestic law enforcement. With one cloaked swipe of his pen, Bush is seeking to undo those prohibitions.
Public Law 109-364, or the "John Warner Defense Authorization Act of 2007" (H.R.5122) (2), which was signed by the commander in chief on October 17th, 2006, in a private Oval Office ceremony, allows the President to declare a "public emergency" and station troops anywhere in America and take control of state-based National Guard units without the consent of the governor or local authorities, in order to "suppress public disorder." President Bush seized this unprecedented power on the very same day that he signed the equally odious Military Commissions Act of 2006. In a sense, the two laws complement one another. One allows for torture and detention abroad, while the other seeks to enforce acquiescence at home, preparing to order the military onto the streets of America. Remember, the term for putting an area under military law enforcement control is precise; the term is "martial law." SF.Indymedia

The fact that Bush signed these Martial Law changes the same day as the Military Commissions Act of 2006, makes it very clear that his cabal is lying when it says the Military Commissions Act was not meant for American citizens. But where was the "liberal drive by media?" This man-child of a president now has all the powers that our ancestors fought AGAINST in the revolutionary war. WHAT THE FUCK?
President Bush and his cronies, the same people who openly lied to drag us into a war that has cost the lives of thousands of our brave soldiers and hundreds of thousands of lives in the middle east for a cause that was not ours to deal with in the first place. They have total control over marshal law now. On October 17 of this year President Bush quietly signed a bill into law that may be a fatal blow to our democracy and to our way of life. With a slight movement his hand he has nullified laws that were set in place to protect the American people from tyranny on a domestic front. WHAT THE FUCK?
Why does The Cheney menstruation feel this is so necessary and why no big fanfare? Why isn't this a news story? Perhaps because there is no fucking way that they can spin this heinous act as a tool to fight the war on "terror."
The undeniable liberal's take: Massive voting fraud is going to occur next week resulting in a wave of Republicunt "comeback" wins and many of us are going so say HELL NO and take to the streets. And when we do, Martial law is declared and all who protest will face justice under the Military Commissions act. Pretty convenient for the Cheney Menstruation, ya think? I hope I'm wrong. The tinfoil hat DOES feel a bit tight right now.

Because they all are extreme right wing religious cultists: Read control freaks.
And that hat may not only fit properly, it may sit upon a prophetic head.
I hope not, my friend, but it sems too obvious.
Wow. What an illustration. Good job, UD.
